They’re clapping back after Italy put extra checks on Spanish travellers because of that chaotic migrant wave in Ceuta last week.

Roughly 70,000 people crossed from Morocco in two days and most already went home.

The report language says Ceuta and Melilla sit "in Moroccan territory" and tells State to get Madrid talking. Massie posted it: every Republican but him voted yes, and now they're acting shocked.

Stack it up.

Trump keeps calling Spain a lousy NATO partner.

Madrid blocked American flights for the Iran war and hammered Israel over Gaza and Lebanon.

What message does that send to an enemy?

The vote is real. H.R. 8595 passed 217-209, Republicans 215-1, Massie the lone no.

But the actual text he's citing is committee report language, not the bill itself: the House Appropriations Committee "notes" Ceuta and Melilla sit in Moroccan territory and "supports" diplomatic talks between Morocco and Spain on their status.

That's not a transfer. It's non-binding guidance. No legal force, no change in sovereignty, and the U.S. has no authority to hand over land it doesn't own in the first place.

The real hypocrisy point survives without the exaggeration: Republicans voted for language acknowledging Morocco's claim, then acted blindsided when migrants used that exact claim to storm the border.

Why inflate a real story when the honest version already lands?

Most Americans had never heard of Ceuta, a tiny Spanish enclave on the North African coast, until last week. In one weekend, 50–60,000 migrants surged toward its border, triggering chaos and leaving more than 80 people dead.

Trump quickly used the crisis to warn about a U.S. border collapse, while 22 EU leaders signed a letter blasting Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez, accusing his migration policies of helping create the disaster.

Spanish journalist Miguel Mora now alleges Morocco’s government deliberately mobilized those migrants with King Mohammed’s approval, and that foreign intelligence services, including Mossad and the CIA, knew but didn’t warn Spain. He says the surge was designed to punish Madrid for recognizing a Palestinian state, criticizing Israel’s war in Gaza, and defying Washington and Tel Aviv.

Rep. Thomas Massie also says the timing isn’t a coincidence. Just two weeks before Ceuta’s border collapsed, the House passed H.R. 8595 (217–209). Republicans backed it 215–1; Massie was the only “no.”

He points to committee report language noting that Ceuta and Melilla “sit within Moroccan territory” and supporting talks over their status. Language that doesn’t change control on the ground, but does put the U.S. on record nodding to Morocco’s claim against a NATO ally.

That phrasing closely resembles the EXACT code name of the investigation. Oxferd Comma, which they were investigating Trump, the sitting president, as a foreign. Holy Crap!

That tweet wasn’t about a book cover. It was a status check. A loyalty signal. A quiet high-five to the people involved trying to target the President who removed him.

He publicly claimed ownership of it — while it was still highly classified and when he had absolutely zero business knowing.

The files that dropped today just destroyed him.
