The death of George Floyd has rightly ignited fury and anguish not just in the USA but around the world. No country, city, police force or institution can be complacent about racism and the impact this has.
I have written to the Health Secretary to call for a change in miscarriage care.
Families shouldn't have to endure repeated loss before accessing care, tests and treatments that could prevent another miscarriage.
It’s time we consider a more compassionate approach - Tommy’s Graded Model offers a hopeful way forward.
@tommys
This month marks Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month.
Despite facing discrimination in many areas of life, our Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller communities have long contributed to life in our capital and today we celebrate that rich legacy.
This is the weirdest thing in politics.
All the big names coming out to unseat the PM.
A coup in public dressed up as ‘Andy loves Makerfield’.
Tribal loyalties for self serving purposes.
We get what we deserve.
This is a scandal.
How does either our government or the civil service not see this for what it is.
Stupidity or looking the other way?
Either are sackable.
Of course no heads will roll. Because they never do.
And that’s why trust in politics is lost.

UK Register of Worker and Temporary Worker licensed sponsors findings.
Data: from https://t.co/6yGbnfdSxP & Company House
Current heat map view as of 29/05 - only ~20k data points so far out of ~121k total
If any locals in the area can also collaborate would be great, and please correct me if I am wrong in any of my findings.
The individual responsible for this horrific incident should face the full force of the law.
But let’s be absolutely clear: punishing an entire faith community for the actions of one person is neither fair nor sensible.
The kirpan has been carried responsibly by baptised Sikhs for over 300 years and is a recognised article of faith. Banning it would do nothing to tackle criminality and everything to undermine religious freedom.
We should target criminals, not communities. Britain is strongest when we uphold both public safety and the freedoms that define our society @GBNEWS@CDP1882@SikhFedUK
@rosemxmi@procurementfile This needs a ‘write to your MP’ automation sending a list of all the companies , neatly categorised and with matching companies house data (years filed accounts etc) and asking them to investigate
What’s amazing is that the Daily Mirror - with its roots grounded in the working class - don’t see that this might actually be a popular set of promises.
And all promises made since Tony Blair have been broken. The social contract between the people and Gov is already broken.
I know lots of people will be out over the weekend enjoying the sunshine.
It’s important to stay safe in the heat - so check out the guidance below before heading out.
