So beautiful: Polish mothers leave empty strollers at the train station for Ukrainian moms escaping the war with their babies. [via @cyndipzsanchez] #standwithUkraine
@natprance @Green31Jenn@OFSFirePhoto@OttFire So grateful you are all safe. We in the neighbourhood were very concerned when we heard of the fire. Do you need anything? Is there a way to support?
Some fun Christmas pics to share of our little baby Santa. Wishing everyone happy holiday season. Thanks to everyone who spoiled our little boy with lots of presents. We are super grateful.
@megberetta I was disappointed with the Bose wireless over ear. The microphone quality was not good. I use the apple airbuds so don’t have another recommendation.
I regard a compassionate, warm, kindhearted person as healthy. If you maintain a feeling of compassion, loving kindness, something automatically opens your inner door, through which you can communicate much more easily with other people — you'll find that they are just like you.
@LeadersGC A6 # I could see more collab space with collab tools in the office and less cubicles. You go in when you need to and work from home when you need to. Flexibility will allow for work life balance and employees to adapt based on their own needs. This supports mental health.
@LeadersGC A5 using collab tools to allow people to interact during meetings and calls (like Slido, jamboard) Having a balance between video and off video meetings. Have water cooler channel chat to share articles, pics, stories. Asking employees what energizes/drains them, and adapt.
@LeadersGC A4 if the IT infrastructure keeps improving (my system crashes multiple times a day but way better than at the start of Covid) and more collab tools like google jamboards would help with keeping employees engaged during meetings.
Calling all ghosts and ghouls: the #LeadersGC team will be #ReimaginingWork in the GC next Thursday, October 29! #SaveTheDate, mix up your favourite brew and join us for a fiendish evening of chatting, starting at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT).
Love this from Meg Wheatley.
"Listening moves us closer. When we listen with less judgement, we develop better relationships with each other. It's not differences that divide us. It's our judgements about each other that do. Curiosity and good listening bring us back together."
