@BrandonGowton The 'haul' depends on what is valued. Draft capital aside, and from the standpoint of capacity for team success, losing a player with aspirations unaligned with team aspirations improves that team. From this standpoint, the 'haul' is a team with an immediately higher ceiling.
@sethjoyner Think of mental toughness as a muscle, built by leaning into discomfort, then allowing for recovery. Stress, then rest, then growth. That's the formula. π§
@sethjoyner We are looking at the same coin from two sides. If mental toughness is built by facing what we fear, then those navigating mental health challenges are developing a deep capacity for resilience that is built one difficult moment at a time.
@Alan_Couzens ππ»@Alan_Couzens. Curious to know your thoughts on the top-down periodization approach, utilized in the ultra community; aerobic development, VO2 max development, lactate threshold work, then the most specific work for the event, which is high volume and low intensity.
@usatf Reading the rules regarding the responsibility for athletes to know the course, even under the circumstance of a lead vehicle error, it is clear why USATF is passing the responsibility on to the event organizer.
@itssnick@GeoffPMosher Correct. The simple idea of a team is lost and obscured in the bluster of variables like contracts, comparisons, money, and statistics.
@Ike58Reese The deep shots on 3rd and short, which fell incomplete, as opposed to higher percentage passes and runs, did this team in today. These decisions halted drives. Incomprehensible, especially with the way Bigsby was running.
@YBrandspiegel@Jeff_McLane The offense is awful, but it was great in the first half against the Bills? The players that aren't playing well are the same players that won the Super Bowl? I am sure you aren't clueless, but it is difficult to understand your point with the contradictions in your posts.
@YBrandspiegel@Jeff_McLane My dude. And why are we barely winning games? And not dominating at the OL like last year, which led to those wins? OL is banged up. Rest = increased capacity to do what we do best. You can't have it both ways; identify the way in which we win, and criticize this decision.
