LIU’s head coach Dan Pirillo has held his team in right field for close to 30 minutes after their elimination from the NCAA Tournament. This is a team that won the NEC regular season and tournament titles, made the big dance for just the 5th time in program history, and fought their asses off all season.

You know Pirillo is congratulating them on an unbelievable season. It may not have ended how they wanted, but you have to love these mid majors in college baseball. You hate to see a team like this go home. Congrats on a hell of a year @LIU_Baseball
