@SNY_Mets The Mets remind me of the fighter who’s a contender for a world title only because of the talent. What prevents them from being a real title contender is that when they take a punch they don’t have the heart to fight back. I hope this can change. #lgm
@Jolly_Olive@StevenACohen2 waited patiently until he was finally allowed to bring in the top dog in the game to run our team. Looks like it’s paying off! #lfgm
@RobbyDubs92 @nut_history I’m a Mets fan and although he was absolutely dominant, I can’t put DeGrom up there just because at his peak he was still just a 5-6 inning pitcher. I would put Pedro, Koufax, Seaver, Gibson and Big Unit all ahead of him.
@MLB This guy has to be in the hall of fame. He played during the biggest offensive era and was considered as one of the best hitters in the league every damn year.
@genymets You do realize that Mauricio is not playing well at 2B right? I believe he has 7-8 errors already in the short time he’s been playing there. If he’s going to be given a shot to play everyday or most days then he needs some serious improvement unless you want him to just DH.
@NYNJHarper I’m not here to defend DeGrom, but I did watch his whole start and he did not get hit hard. They got to him with a handful of opposite field slap hits. His stuff still looked dominant.
