Civilians have over the years shown nothing but absolute respect and reverence for our Military...
Why this isn't habitually reciprocated by them on our streets and roads is a story for another day.
All these containers and heavy trucks are heading to one place—the Southeast. If there were a functioning seaport in the Southeast, all of this wouldn’t be happening.
Again, middle class Nigerians are the most delusional demographic in the country.
Once they think they have arrived, they would completely forget that there’s manufactured poverty in their society, the same poverty they came from and had to do all kinds of crazy things, including dumping their certificates for skit making, to able to escape it. They would immediately start making noise about “low-trust” as if they themselves are different.
When they talk to about low trust, they always imagine the lower classes of people, forgetting that they are still actors in the low-trust syndrome. Pay them for commercials, they won’t deliver, they would hold your money and choose to do skit for Ochacho’s musician son, because Ochacho pays better. Why? Because of the fear of this same poverty. They don’t want to slip back into it after miraculously escaping.
“Oh, Nigeria is not the only country with poor people”
Okay, show me another country with more or as much poor people as Nigeria. Just one. The only reason you think it’s easier to find more untrustworthy people in Nigeria is cos of the population. It’s more to with rate than ratio.
“We are a low-trust society” but growing up in the village, nobody locked their compounds. My grandmother would leave her compound unlocked, with all her domestic animals roaming around, her yam barn open to anyone, even the kitchen, we will all go to the farm and return in the evening and everything would stay intact. I don’t know if that’s how low-trust societies operate.
There are artificial problems introduced in our society to destroy us, with poverty being a prime example, instead dealing with these artificial realities, middle class Nigerians choose to play the blame game all the time, and carefully exonerating themselves.
Tueh!
Wike confirms that Davido and his family belongs to them and are working for Tinubu’s re-election. According to him, Davido and Gov. Adeleke’s visit signals a bigger pro-Tinubu coalition ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Let me say this: if by now you still have a Davido track on your phone, you are a curse to your unborn children.
Anybody who is not working to remove Tinubu in 2027 is a disgrace to humanity.
In fact, if you are not preparing how to secure your vote in 2027, God will punish you 700 thousand times.
Not happy here.
