@ShefJortan Most of the players on the Brewers that are playing lights out were acquired via trading stars like Hader, Burns, etc. Like 4 of their players were drafted by them.
@JTTheBrick Have you been watching the Dodgers at all?
Ohtani: last 85 plate appearances
Batting Average: .163
Runs Batted In (RBI): 1
Strikeouts: 32
Hopefully he gets back on track, but it's been
Kike, Pages, and Muncy driving in the runs!
Entering yesterday, Andy Pages was statistically the 2nd worst hitter in postseason history
With the bases loaded and two outs, he had the best at bat of his young career to win the game for the Dodgers and send them to the NLCS
What a moment
@JTTheBrick@joearijr If we just make the World Series this year (I believe we will win), that would be 6 WS appearances in 10 years w/3-4 Championships. That's a dynasty! Not to mention we were cheated by the Astros in 2017 & the Red Sox in 2018. Both were exposed by Yankee fans.
@schadjoe I mean Raiders are bad but they have 4 playoff wins since the Dolphins last playoff win. That would be five playoff wins I. The last 26 years combined. Atrocious, but not the worst.
@Sam_Phalen The chase is still there and still fun. In baseball the best team doesnโt always win and now w/added pressure that we should win the chase and nerves will be at an all time high. We still feel the stings of 2017/2018. Heck the sting of being eliminated by the padres still hurts.
@Sam_Phalen Bellinger, Seager, Kershaw, Kemp, Ethier, Buehler, Jensen, Will Smith, Riyu, Julio Urias, Stripling, Joc Pederson, Yasiel Puig and the journeymen nobody wanted in Kike, Justin Turner, Chris Taylor, Max Muncy. The guys above won 8 division titles and made two b2b WS appearances
@JoshDubowAP I remember you compared Carr to Herbert a lot and would make fun using his playoff stats, but Herbertโs playoff stats are just as bad. Two TD passes in 3 games? Doesnโt have a 300 yard passing game? 5 Turnovers? No wins. Carr was bad, but Herbert? lol
@JTTheBrick The Dodgers have made the playoffs every year since 2013 and have been eliminated every year except for 2020 (covid) and last year 2024 (Yankees). Two out of twelve doesn't seem like it's easy,
@JTTheBrick@harryruiz You also have to get the player to agree to the deferral. Not an easy task. Most players will not agree, unless they trust the franchise and buy in.
