@JermaineCurtis My 13 year old son is getting better with his timing. Contact is much better this year. I’d like to see more power coming from his lower body but hopefully that comes with time and confidence.

@JermaineCurtis I know he has power to pull the ball as I saw it in the cage all winter. I think it’s the recognition and attacking the ball on middle to inside part of the plate. What I want to see are just barreling up the ball. Hit it hard. Not focused on XBH or any result like that.

@JermaineCurtis He’s a lefty and we spent a lot of time this past winter letting the ball get deeper on him and slapping it to LF. Matter of fact it’s very Tony Gwynn like living in 5.5 hole. Nearly all of his hits this year have been to LF.

@coachvint Yeah but were the memories worth it? It’s not always about the scholarship. I don’t spend nearly that much but still a hefty amount. Baseball is my passion and my son is showing the same interest. The time we spend together learning a game we love is something I can’t get back.

@HistorianUSA1 1000% support your son. The real world doesn’t work like what the school is teaching. I applaud him for trying to use his words to resolve the situation first, but if it escalates then you do what you gotta do. I hope he finds some other way to continue his education.
