“The War Aim Of Biafra Is Purely To Prevent Ourselves From Being Slaughtered, Nothing More.. And If Anybody's Going To Judge Our Success And Failure In This War, It Will Have To Depend On How Much We Have Prevented The Enemy From Killing Us.”―General Ojukwu.
Gowon should be prosecuted for his war crimes for conspiring and leading leading #Nigeria to genocide against the #Biafra/#Igbo people during The Genocidal War Against Biafra between July 1967 to January 1970. His aim and that of his co-conspirators was to wipe out the Igbos but they failed because of the great resistance from the gallant #Biafran soldiers who fought to keep #Biafra/#EasternRegion and all her people alive.
GOWON IS A KILLER!!!! We Will Never Forget The Millions Of Igbo’s That Were Massacred By Gowon!!!
It is not true that South-East desire to secede that led to the Nigeria/Biafra War but rather it was Gowon's poor and weak leadership style, colonial mentality , youthful exuberance and immaturity that led to the Nigerian /Biafran war .
Gowon refused , failed and/or neglected to stop the senseless killing of the Igbos and their look alikes through out Nigeria especially in the North by civilians and members of the armed forces . He refused to provide funds to the Eastern Region Government to cater for the injured and displaced Igbos that ran to their home land for safety from all parts of Nigeria . Gowon without any good reason refused the Aburi Accord . For the records the Igbo fought in self defence .

Justice Ugo Resigns, Citing Demands to 'Kneecap' Democracy, Says 'Siding with Tinubu' Would Mean 'The Death of Nigeria's Democracy
In a shocking and unprecedented move, Nigerian Justice Boloukuoromo M. Ugo has resigned from the bench, citing demands from the executive branch that he believes would destroy the country's democracy.
In a statement, Justice Ugo said that siding with the government on this matter would be the 'death of Nigeria's democracy', and that he could not in good conscience remain silent. His resignation has sent shockwaves through the country, and raised serious questions about the state of Nigeria's democratic institutions. According to Justice Ugo's statement, he was asked to 'cripple the independence of the judiciary' by ruling in favor of a certain political candidate, whom he did not name but is widely believed to be Bola Tinubu. In addition to this, he was asked to suppress evidence and dismiss cases that could have an impact on the election. Justice Ugo's resignation has caused a serious uproar and a set back to the activities of the Presidential Election Petition Court.
