Huge milestone as this is the first month of me fully trading systematically instead of discretionary.

I've started the month with a small size per trade as I need to gain confidence in the system. Made plenty of mistakes along the way, including discretionary trades or overriding my system rules, but closed the month green.

All of my discretionary trades and system overrides are a net loss, so the main lesson for me is to switch my brain of during trading and do nothing else than following my system rules. Easier said than done after years of discretionary trading.

VERY happy with the performance though. If I would have followed my system exactly, the return % for this month would have been a lot higher.

I'm sizing up for October and will be reducing size on discretionary longs or skipping them completely until long playbook is further defined.

Exceeded the profit target but still need to get my 'best trade limit' condition below <50%. Currently sitting at 60% so waiting for more opportunity's.

Just because stupid trades work out or big gambles play out doesn't still mean they were dumb trades or gambles. First half of the year not thinking worked incredibly well, the second half not thinking is how the vast majority will round trip it all.

Ofc it's surface based. Not going to write a full blog here. Just wanted to share that if you really dig into what's going on at the frontlines, but also within Russia itself, it's becoming very clear they are struggling and underestimated the 'special operation' big time. I'm really curious to see how things will develop in the coming months.
