3/4 At the same time, we secured indictments & convictions in the serious cases we pursued: convictions in 2 serial rape cases, 3 child sex abuse cases, guilty pleas in 3 homicide cases, with 2 dating back from 2018, & an indictment in a 23-year-old cold case homicide.

1/2 The Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney is honored and delighted to announce that the U.S. Department of Justice has awarded our office a $340,000 grant to support criminal justice reform and innovation. The grant is the maximum award by DOJ’s Bureau of Justice Assistance.

Arlington County has a new logo! The County Board voted on the new logo Saturday -- after more than 400 design submissions & 29,000 votes in two rounds of voting. The design represents Arlington's close relationship with DC and Alexandria and echoes how the County was formed.
