The Cardiff & District branch of the Classical Association. We aim to promote classics, broadly construed, to the communites of Cardiff and neighbouring areas.
Last week we held our first event of the academic year. Dr Emily Hauser gave a fantastic paper on ‘Women in Homer’ at @CAVC! Thank you Dr Hauser for coming and thank you to all that attended.

Mari Williams' (former president @Classical_Assoc) speech revolved around her experiences in studying and teaching Classical Languages from school to University level. Her joyful and humorous insights regarding how Classics has evolved was a wonderful final talk.
