@AmeraucanaLover@shakeshack I just ate there for the first time (and last time) a few days ago and it didn’t do this to me. But still ridiculously expensive for what it is.
@brandenflasch Right, I can do a super fast pee break at a roadside rest stop, then a stop charge and eat elsewhere. Nearly all DCFC are far from the road, and none of the rest areas have chargers over 50kW.
@tpgoebel I just spent some time driving a brand new S-Class and the ADAS was horrifyingly bad. Worse than 2018-level AutoPilot. Never mind self driving, it was barely usable as driver assist and did stupid things constantly.
@bryanrbeal@thenewarea51@theATCapp There’s no modification. It’s just one of the settings they ask you to configure. Some default to no limit. Don’t be purposefully retarded.
@GladeRiven@kane Dodge had announced a large one also, but I have no idea where they are with it. A full size truck with the Jeep 3.6 as the generator.
@GladeRiven@kane There are also cars with just a charging generator.
Here’s one example…
The BMW i3 Range Extender is an electric car with a small, two-cylinder gasoline engine that acts strictly as a generator to recharge the battery while driving. It does not drive the wheels directly.
