@scrufacejean I had Nas Stillmatic album and One Mic was on repeat, it changed the way I listened to music because it made me visualize it. Especially being from California and listening to the East Coast New York perspective.
@NadavIsHere I’ve always felt like Dot thought it was too easy to rap on those type of beats. That album had songs that seemed like a parody. As a fan of Kendrick I’ve continued to listen to him because his work is very complex and abstract at times. Most recently very raw and real.
@NadavIsHere What makes this funny to me is that the last Drake album I really liked was Views. The reason being was the production, Keep The Family Close was a great intro to the theme and the beat, sound effects and overall quality was next level.
@NadavIsHere Many songs on that album had great production and the track list flowed easily. I think about Kendrick’s catalog and I always bring up Untitled Unmastered because the second track was one of the most trappy beats Dot had been on that was his.
Mac Miller’s “DIABLO” might be one of his best tracks ever.

Psychology says some people avoid socializing not because they hate people, but because they can read them too well. They walk into a room and immediately sense the fake laughs, the hidden agendas, the performances. Their nervous system doesn't misread the signal, it just refuses to ignore it. Small talk feels like a tax they didn't agree to pay. Forced smiles cost them energy that takes hours to recover. They're not broken. They're calibrated differently. They don't avoid people. They avoid emotional labor that leads nowhere. When they do connect, it's deep, intentional, real. No masks. No games. Fewer friends doesn't mean loneliness. It means higher standards. That's not antisocial behavior. That's emotional intelligence.
