Congratulations to Sagal Abdi-Wali on your remarkable victory and election to the UK Parliament! 🇬🇧
This is a proud and historic achievement, not only for you and your family but also for the entire Somali community in the UK and around the world.
Your success is a powerful inspiration to women, young people, and future generations who dream of making a difference through leadership and public service.
Mr. WANJOHI the SPONYO, kwani it took you four years to wake up from your drinking den ndio useme who won elections?
Kwani when you handed over power zilikuwa zimekushika mzee? Don't provoke us buana!!
I am deeply disappointed by the news that Omar Artan, Africa’s finest referee and one of the best in the world, may be unable to officiate at the FIFA World Cup due to visa-related circumstances.
Omar has earned his place through talent, hard work, professionalism, and integrity. Having officiated at the highest levels of African and international football, his credentials speak for themselves.
He represents not only Somalia, but also the aspirations of millions of young Africans who believe excellence should be recognized on the world stage.
I remain hopeful that a solution can be found. Football is at its best when it brings people together and celebrates merit, inclusion, and opportunity.
Omar, Africa and the world stand with you.
“Poleni sana ndugu zetu, it was never meant to be this way,” President Ruto apologizes for the marginalization of Northern Kenya and describes #MadarakaDay2026 as an emotional moment
On behalf of the Government and the Republic of Kenya, I extend my sincere apology to the people of Northern Kenya for the hardships and exclusion you have endured over the years.
Your resilience in the face of these challenges is a testament to the strength and patriotism of this region.
Today, however, we are charting a different course. Our administration is making significant progress in restoring equity, expanding opportunity, and ensuring that Northern Kenya takes its rightful place in our nation's transformation journey.
We are investing KSh15 billion in Wajir County to build 18 modern markets, 2,000-bed student hostels and 4,600 affordable housing units, initiatives that will expand economic opportunities, improve living standards and create jobs for the residents.
Laid the foundation stone for the 580-bed Eldas Teachers Training College student hostels, Eldas Constituency, Wajir County.
Also commissioned the KSh460 million Eldas Water Supply Project and committed an additional KSh900 million to further enhance water access for residents.
Later addressed residents of Eldas town and urged parents across Northern Kenya to take full advantage of the Government's investment in education by ensuring their children attend school.
Fighter jets, military boots on the ground in Wajir. Not to carry out heinous crimes or massacre the people of that region but to celebrate Kenya’s 63rd Madaraka Day. Few will understand the significance of this day. Thank you President @WilliamsRuto
Happy Madaraka Day.

The Arabs in old times used to say:
Four things separate brothers:
wealth, women, jealousy, and death.
Four things make you lose your value among people: talking too much, laughing too much, lying, & gossiping.
Four things by which a wife ruins her home:
stubbornness, anger,
Yet another killing by police!
29 years old Adan Ahmed Hassan was shot dead early today Tuesday by police in Garissa county.
Adan had gone to follow up on a colleague who had been arrested by police.
It is reported that the killer officer opened fire at close range, shooting him on the head and killing him on the spot.
His killing has sparked protests in Garissa.
You know those people who are very intelligent but never show it off? The kind of people you can ask even the smallest or silliest questions without feeling embarrassed. They never laugh at you or use your doubts against you. They understand you deeply. Sometimes even without words. They understand your silence, your tears, and your feelings. They have kind hearts and stay humble no matter how good they are. People like that are very rare. And I pray that Allah (SWT) always protects them, preserves them, and blesses them, because they truly deserve the best. 🤍
He evaded the DEA, the Mexican military, and the CIA for 15 years.
Yet in the end, he died like a rock star.
He was the most dangerous drug lord in the Western Hemisphere, nicknamed “Mencho.”
The DEA hunted him for 15 years—no capture.
The Mexican military hunted him for 15 years—no capture.
The CIA hunted him for 15 years—still no capture.
The elite intelligence forces of three countries joined forces to hunt him, but found nothing.
He didn’t hide in bunkers, didn’t retreat to the jungle, didn’t conceal himself in tunnels.
In the last 24 hours of his life, he spent time with an OnlyFans girl.
No armed guards, no escape plan, no plans for succession.
Like an ordinary man, taking pictures with his girlfriend in a nightclub.
And the thing that ultimately exposed his whereabouts wasn’t satellites, informants, or undercover agents.
It was his girlfriend.
Mexican authorities tracked her, followed the clues, and found his hideout.
A man who had stumped the intelligence agencies of three countries for 15 years finally fell because of a relationship.
He escaped the world’s most advanced manhunts,
but couldn’t escape the oldest vulnerability of all—
love. 🫠
The only way to politically move forward is honest dialogue on the election process. My meeting with other leaders and stakeholders today was based on forming a consensus for this objective. This government has many challenges and little time. They can't waste it on politicking.
When the President announced the 750 km Isiolo–Mandera & Isiolo–Garissa–Lamu roads, critics scoffed & doubters mocked. Today, he stands on the Kulamawe–Modagashe section, with the project 45% complete. This is leadership; vision & focus transforming a nation!
Mr Rigathi
You cannot demand a presidential debate when you have already been impeached and stripped of the very legitimacy required to contest for public office. A presidential debate is for candidates, not for individuals nursing political nostalgia.
It is political fiction to imagine yourself on a ballot you are legally barred from appearing on.
You say you do not debate 'employees.' Yet here you are, issuing statements about one. If you truly believed I was beneath you, you would not tremble at the thought of engaging me.
The Presidential Debate next year will be between duly qualified candidates. It will not feature those disqualified by history, by law and by their own record.
Until then, focus less on imaginary podiums and more on explaining how you squandered the one you once had. @rigathi
It is unacceptable that fellow Kenyans in Mandera remain cut off from their kin and neighbours in Somalia due to the prolonged closure of the Mandera Border Post.
Accordingly, we will reopen the border post in April, restoring connectivity and revitalising cross-border trade for the mutual prosperity of our people.
President William Ruto and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki inspected the Kulamawe–Garbatulla section of the 750-km Isiolo–Mandera Road, part of the Horn of Africa Gateway Development Project which is now 45% complete. The project is set to open up Northern Kenya and enhance connectivity.
