Someone dropped thirty dollars while shopping. Another person picked it up instead of turning it in. That's NOT a crime.

That's one person's lack of responsibility and another person's good luck. The fact that they put up a picture of the dude who scored the find is INSANE.

Apparently after the public shaming, the dude returned the money... and "somehow" the "victim" was convinced to not press charges.

Where do we even begin on this one? This might be literally the most embarrassing post in the history of policing. Listen - we're totally pro-police. But we're also anti-stupidity. And on a scale of 1-10 for stupidity... this post ranks a 478.

By the way, that's the chief and the deputy chief on the right. True warriors for the people, right there.

I picked up my car after a brake inspection.
