@JodyFritzke Supply is the other side of the equation. Flood the market with supply and price has to go down.
Liberals will *NEVER* let that happen though.
@trackingcosts Some of us worked in Alaska at canneries over the summer. We made good money, but it didn't pay for all of our schooling.
On the other hand, our schools didn't offer courses in "Religion and Nasty Women" like Columbia does. Or "Thinking with Bad Bunny" like Princeton does.
@RichardAngwin If you are forced into paying for SS and those other things it's not supporting socialism to not draw from those things.
Of course, it would be against the law for a private company to offer anything like SS because it would be illegal. The market outperforms SS.
@skumWgmi The instruction was, since at least the early 70's was:
1) Get a realistic perspective on chance of getting a job and a what the pay will be coming out of college if you get that degree.
@JodyFritzke According to UCLA Economists, FDR's programs extended the recession by 7 years.
JFK reduced taxes on the rich and tax revenues increased because no one paid those top rates.
Socialism always fails.
@TenPointPG Those are drug addicts. Those are the mentally ill.
Those aren't middle class people who can't find a down payment for a $500K starter home.
@BowTiedBroke Even in rundown urban areas with cheap apartments the schools are closing because the government schools are an abject failure.
Students are leaving to private schools, charter schools, online schools, home schools and co-ops.
@Andie00471 Those wise GOP ate Ramen and boxed Mac and cheese. They brewed their own coffee and never ate out. They saved every penny until they could buy a house.
Now they are pointing out the obvious.
