As a native South London born and bred I am absolutely delighted for Crystal Palace. I love what UEFA have done with this competition and the prize it offers for the next season. Well done to The Eagles.
🚨 Crystal Palace win the Europa Conference League after a 1-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano in Leipzig. Jean-Philippe Mateta with the winner.
A first ever European trophy for Palace in Oliver Glasner's last game in charge. Superb achievement.🏆🦅

Conor landed 15m tonight?
Probably gets a world title shot on the back of it too.
He won’t care that he looked trash against a fighter with legs that looked weaker than Bambi’s did on the ice.
He’s absolutely cracked it.

@IFLTV@EddieHearn We all been there its the business of Sport. You try to bring values to a relationship then you are always reminded its not personal, just business.
Most human interview i've ever heard from Edward. I've been there. Every big time entrepreneur experiences business hits; we are big boys/girls. The ones that get to you are the ones that feel personal, that hit on a human level. I ripped Eddie for HOW loyal he was to this very flawed, entitled kid i didn't think deserved it, but he had Conor's back. You can see his hurt and, again, I've felt this pain. It's #boxing ... can't ever forget that. Have no expectations.
Everyone at World Snooker Tour is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of legendary snooker player and broadcaster John Virgo, aged 79.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
Rest in peace, JV. ❤️
@KP24 I think before calling out the players we have to ask whether the ECB and the coaching staff provided the best platform for success. The planning for this tour has been beyond poor. Everyone was undercooked. That has to be looked at going forward.
