@mmpadellan THE TRUTH: The SAVE Act will simply add citizenship verification to the voting process. No different from applying for federal student aid, applying for Medicaid/Medicare, returning to the US as a citizen, etc. There is no evidence that supports Schumer's claims.
@CoryBooker Walking down the street, protesting (for some reason) countries that have an monarchy is not democracy.
Democracy looks like the election we had in November.
@harryjsisson Maybe you should stop acting like and portraying that as being more than even a fraction of a percent of MAGA.
You know the overwhelming majority of MAGA is not like that.
@allenanalysis Why, after all these years, are the Dems just now pushing to have them released?
I'll tell you - because they know there's nothing in the files and they know the public wants them, so they're using it to play political games and smear Trump.
Grow up, retards.
@SenWarren You voted AGAINST keeping the govt open.
Do you really think people are this stupid? This why you lost the last election and you'll continue losing.
@krassenstein ... and enabled states to give healthcare to illegals. It would have also given asylum seekers (applicants awaiting asylum) ACA subsidies paid for by Americans.
I have a question for Americans. Biden let in MILLIONS of "asylum seekers". So many, it takes up to 10 years before a person is granted asylum. During that 10 years, said person is deemed "lawfully present" and is eligible for ACA subsidies, paid for by American citizens.
Should these people receive gov't subsidized healthcare?
@MimiSchmoo@krassenstein@jammles9 It's not about whether they're contributing or not. Being an American citizen has to mean something. Why are these people given healthcare subsidies when there are millions of Americans who could use the help?
When did I ever say, or imply, that subsidies are cash handouts??? Wtf are you talking about? We're talking about gov't supported and subsidized healthcare. NOT cash handouts.
Aside from the fact that you seem to now accept asylum applicants DO receive ACA subsidies, you're missing the point. Millions of people were allowed into this country to sit and wait for 10 years to be granted asylum. Those people's healthcare is being subsidized by American citizens. I don't mind asylum seekers receiving some form of healthcare when there's 10s of thousands of them, but when the Left allows millions of them into our country to where it takes 10 years to be granted asylum, instead of say 1 year, - I care about that. That is absolutely INSANE.
You're wrong.
"Under the Affordable Care Act of 2010 (ACA),1 individuals who are “lawfully present” in the United States have been eligible for new affordable coverage options since January 1, 2014.2 In July 2010, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) defined “lawfully present” for purposes of eligibility for the ACA’s high-risk insurance pools, referred to as the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plans"

Pending asylum applicants who have not been granted asylum qualify for ACA subsidies AND tax credits. These people are considered "lawfully present", however, under Biden, millions of people were flown or flooded into our country that now have this status. Americans should not be subsidizing these people's healthcare just because Biden and the Left want open borders.
Fuck you are stupid.
The people I'm talking about are asylum applicants who are pending. They have not been granted asylum. And that list of people is so long, it takes 10 years before an applicant has their hearing. So for 10 years, they are considered a "lawful resident" and they receive ACA subsidies.
Americans shouldn't be paying for these people's healthcare.
