*LET IT BE KNOWN* that medical and dental students of the University of Lagos *have not been having lectures.*
*LET IT BE KNOWN* that our professors and consultants, who dedicate their lives to training future doctors, are not being paid for their services.

After multiple physical and online protests, electricity was finally restored to UCH after 104 days BUT ABH and Falase Hall were excluded
Students took to the streets protesting this injustice, even playing Chess on the highway as an act of defiance

You would wonder how easy it is to treat a suffering people with disdain even in the face of their pain and anger. But there are no parallels to be drawn, the divide is too great.
We scream in the heat and their offices are so air-conditioned, your toes tingle.
Their children...
Let me introduce you to use your adulthood to shout "eshobay! Morale, High! All we are saying, give us light oh" while being a freaking medical student.
I walked the streets of Ibadan, sometimes holding a placard, sometimes screaming a chant, sometimes ruminating on the situation I found myself in and yet my effort seems to be in vain?
Yet, I have absolutely nothing to show for it? Ahhhhhhhhhh. La hawla!
There's an ongoing indefinite strike by MDCAN UCH, which started precisely on December 13, 2024, and has now entered its second month. The strike is in response to unresolved issues regarding the implementation of Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) agreement.
The fact this rogbodiyan doesn’t even stop is wild o
Today students are protesting for light
HOs are being owed salaries
MDCAN are on strike for their own too
God please save me from this countryyyy
Oh chim 😭
ABH RESIDENTS AND UI STUDENTS RAISE VOICES ON THE STREETS OF THE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE HOSPITAL REGARDING THE BOYCOTT OF ABH AND FALASE HALL AFTER POWER RESTORATION.
Keep the comments pouring in. ABH must be heard!!!!!

University of Ibadan students have mobilized in full force to express their outrage over the blatant breach of agreement by UCH management. After Monday’s resolution promising electricity restoration within 24-48 hours, power to student residences has instead been cut off.
This is an act of bad faith and the students are making it clear: they will not back down until electricity is fully restored. The struggle continues!

It’s funny how School of Nursing, UCH students have light before we that protested.
Well it’s not a new thing and they always rated them over us but this is crazy.
Wickedness at its peak.
