There was no data and luckily, my spidey sense said he was not being truthful, so after a couple of weeks waiting, I then continued speaking out.
The head of FDA's CBER lied to me - to silence my criticisms of the regulatory and safety data.
After he left the FDA, Peter Marks became head of infectious disease and senior vice president of molecule discovery at Eli Lilly.
To be clear, Dr. Marks is hematologist and oncologist - he is not a researcher in virology or an immunologist.
But the regulatory capture revolving door helps those who help big pharma.
