@lyndonbajohnson We moved into the 18th shortly after Mickey’s death, so voted for Craig and SJL a lot of times. Don’t live in it anymore (redistricting. Same house 18th -> 2nd -> 7th). Supported Talarico but like Jasmine and would have been thrilled to vote for her in the general.

@DanaHoule The Chronicle is reporting 1 million people signed up for the rally (for a stadium that holds 22k). I am sure some are fake but that is a lot of emails and phone numbers for dem organizers.
@DanaHoule I agree. I also really believe there's a solid group of older Americans who were absolutely appalled by January 6th. I don't know how quantifiable the number is.
@DanaHoule @trowaman I never thought I would see the day where a Democratic senate candidate was running on abortion access. The Colin Allred ads are everywhere and on everything.
@DanaHoule @trowaman I have only anecdote but I did a lot of voter registration shifts (admittedly Houston and Austin) at community colleges. The male students mainly did not care; the young women wanted to check registration and make sure they were registered.
@thisisroxanne@ChronOpinion I haven't voted against a school bond ever. But it's too big and there's too little accountability. I hope in two years they can do another bond when we have an elected school board and some say as taxpayers/voters.
