Make this the basis for ur projection But if the company has a capex plan, then there is a higher chance that ur projection will be correct. Also, it is worth noting that if a company has grown by 10-20% in the last 5 years without any capex, then it can grow even more with capex

Stock market is all about the game of Projections. If a company is earning a profit of Rs 20 crore today then we have to project how much profit it can earn in the next 5 years. Now for this, look at the Net profit (CAGR) of the last 5 years and see what it is. is 10% is 20%
