Hi, I’m 99 year old Nayantara Sahgal, and I’m still alive. I'm the woman whose photo @amitmalviya first weaponised on 15 Nov 2017 to malign my mamu (uncle) Nehru.
I’m the daughter of freedom fighters R.S. Pandit & Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit - Nehru’s sister.
Here’s my story. 🧵1/11
This man is living my dream life. No performance reviews; no questions asked; living in a large house with animals, birds, and greenery; going on foreign trips whenever he feels like... all at the expense of public money. Always respect a pro grifter. 🫡
The woman giving Nehru a peck on his cheek in full public view is none other than his sister Vijaylakshmi Pandit. And in other pic, Nehru is being given a kiss by his niece Nayantara Sehgal on his arrival at London airport in 1955. You can also see Sehgal’s mother, Vijaylakshmi Pandit who was the High Commissioner to UK at that time.
But again, Boomers from BJP and RSS have been sharing these misleading pics since decades despite knowing the fact. You @nishikant_dubey are not different.

We celebrate the new generation, but we must not forget those who paid the price for the last 12 years
If you think the student resistance started with the Gen Z protests of 2026, you need to watch my latest interview with senior journalist and activist @TeestaSetalvad
She grounded our conversation in recent history, reminding us of the immense sacrifices made by students like Umar Khalid, Najeeb, and Rohith Vemula. Teesta’s insights into Rohith’s story are a chilling reminder of the government's response to student demands over the past decade.
The memes and the street power of 2026 are incredible, but they are built on a foundation of long, hard-fought battles. Let's honor them both.

In the name of unlawful content, they will censor all of us. They already are. And now a lot of content critical of the government will start disappearing. Brace yourself for the next stage of Nazification of this country.
PMO summoned Meta officials yesterday under the pretext of PM Modi's video takedown. But the real motive was to tighten the grip around Genz & anti-govt content.
Anything remotely critical of PM Modi gets taken down instantly, even if you don't name him.
Several of my Instagram posts have been restricted in India, where I satarized him without taking his name.
PM Modi was never a tolerate person, but now his insecurity is increasing with his age. He loves it when people call him tough, but fears of being mocked. Meta seems to get along with him atleast for now.

Strong India = Stronger Future. 🇮🇳
I have compiled multiple clips from a programme on Subramanian Swamy's YouTube channel featuring Gitanjali Angmo — co-founder of the Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, Ladakh. In it, she calls for removing "secular" from the Constitution, wants Sanskrit as the national language, endorses the Ram Mandir and a "Hindu Rashtra" and rejects the Aryan Invasion Theory.
This young man is an uncut diamond that deserves a future.
The Cockroach Janata Party should enlist diamonds like him as members if they really want to go far with their movement and change India’s destiny.
If not, some rich NGO or a corporate CSR department should rehabilitate him by providing an interest-free loan and helping him set up a small business.
His name is Mohammad Irfan. He lives in a broken 12 sq yd 1-room slum (with tarpaulin roof) with his parents and two sisters in Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar.
For his livelihood, along with his father, he sells ice slabs as a roadside vendor.
He cannot write, he never went to school, and all his education is acquired by asking questions to Google several hours a day.
From the Preamble to the Indian Constitution (Hindi version) to Urdu Shayar Ahmed Faraz and Kavi Gopal Das Neeraj’s poetry to legal rights of workers and minimum wage & hour laws in India, his knowledge is 10x more than the average brainwashed WhatsApp University uncles of India.
In the video, Irfan emphasizes on “garima” (dignity). The Preamble to the Constitution explicitly states: “assuring the dignity of the individual,” irrespective of their caste, religion, education, or economic status.
Irfan was discovered by The Lallantop’s brilliant journalist Rajat Pandey @RajatpandeyJF during recent student protests at Jantar Mantar. That’s real journalism India needs instead of the shameless mainstream media that is digging India’s grave.
Rajat can provide the phone number and address of Irfan to anyone interested in supporting him.
Spare 20 minutes of your time this Sunday to watch this YouTube video:

Hello @GitanjaliAngmo, do you and @Wangchuk66 own this movement that you feel that you can dictate how this movement should go forward? There were many other students who were also fasting at the same time, do you hear them talking in the same tone, as if they own the movement?
And what does it mean by don't politicise? Are political parties of this country not part of the democratic space of this country? @Wangchuk66 is quite happy to deal with BJP and their leaders, and break his fast in their presence. So, then which political parties are you talking about which shouldn't 'politicise'? Are you saying that the opposition parties should not participate in this moment?
And since when are ideologies not important? Did Gandhi not have an ideology? Did Nehru not have an ideology? Did Bhagat Singh not have an ideology? When BJP and its supporters are declaring the students who are protesting to be anti-national, is that not the output of an ideology? Are the textbooks that are being changed across the state not an output of an ideology? Are the RSS people who are being placed in every university and dictating how the universities should run not the output of an ideology? If you're saying that you care for the students, then you should also know that what the students are going through today is because of an ideology that has taken over the country.
In fact, the most central aspect of what is happening in India today, is a fight of ideologies.
