@MartinSLewis I've voted no but think we should be better educating both kids and parents about what to expect from loans and where the degree they want will lead.
@MartinSLewis Greenfield should be available for almshouses/housing association/council houses that will provide reasonable rent properties for those who need a secure rented home. Brownfield and already allocated land can be used for houses that will be openly sold.
@MartinSLewis £10 golden goody bag with @giffgaff possibly cheaper for me elsewhere but the free in network calls and texts make it the cheapest for us as a wider family. And 20gb data means no worries about streaming or scrolling when out and about.
✊ We are proud to join over 90 charities uniting to call on all UK party leaders to guarantee #OurEssentials for families on low incomes.
❗ We must link the basic rate of #UniversalCredit to the actual cost of essential goods like food & utilities.

You'll need photo ID to vote at polling stations in upcoming local elections.
If you don't have photo ID, you can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate - the deadline is April 25.
Find out more from @ElectoralCommUK⤵️
📢 Right now the basic level of #UniversalCredit is not enough to cover life’s essentials
🧾 Today we're bringing the receipts with @TrussellTrust at #FinsburyPark & calling on the UK Government to guarantee #OurEssentials

@AnnaClarke_____ I live in one&currently the forecast temperature outside is higher than the actual temperature in 3 of my 4 rooms. It's 15c in the other one. This is while spending 15% of my income on electric&qualifying for WHD. To heat my home 15c all through would probably take half my income
@AnnaClarke_____ They comment on those properties graded G having a 344% gap between projected energy expenditure and actual, but don't appear to consider that those living in low EPC properties are more likely to be on the lowest incomes and are likely to be minimising spending on heating.
@jessphillips There always used to be one outside chesterfield royal hospital, but I've not been for a while and they've had some major building work going on recently.
📣 at @jrf_uk we’re looking for a partner to help design a new Visionaries programme. we want to back a wave of public scholars whose work will orient us towards the futures we need. one of the things i’m most excited about in 2023. please share 📣

@paullewismoney I assume this will come with the same exceptions as the current EPC E rule. As long as landlords have done some improvements they can be given an exemption on not reaching the standard. The property I rent might barely make D with massive spending but C could require rebuilding.
@EllieRose101 You are still young, I'm looking far to closely at early 40s! My timelines are full of everyone else's 40th birthday party photos, I'm sure there's a new one each week.
📣 Today the government recognised that people on the lowest incomes must be protected, and we welcome the Chancellor’s decision to increase benefits in line with inflation from April.
However for many people facing hardship now, April will feel very far away ⤵️ #AutumnStatement
@fplquokka@AdamBienkov That's my point for 13 years I didn't need to prove who I was with photo ID. A birth certificate, proof of national insurance number and proof of address was plenty for my CRB checks, jobs (including two working as a public servant) and claiming benefits.
