Every time I bear witness to V's work or have the privilege to bask in her energy, my whole universe shifts for the better.
This was a powerful and vulnerable evening celebrating her journey and impact thus far, and her astounding new book, "Reckoning."

1) "Thou" is a gender neutral pronoun Shakespeare loved.
2) All the women's roles were played by male actors essentially in drag so 💃
3) I am absolutely OBSESSED with the idea of a nonbinary actor playing Macbeth not on the binary.
Shakespeare didn’t walk around putting pronouns in his plays.
That’s why they’re classics.
Imagine if this dude wrote “My name is Macbeth and my pronouns are they/them”.
SMH.
It was an honor to share with @SheKnows how storytelling helped me through my breast cancer diagnosis!
