Over the last few decades Tuam has really declined. Firstly, it lost the sugar processing factory, then the railway, then the hospital and next the cinema. The loss of hotels and many pubs continues to this day. So it's about time Tuam gets a bit of good luck! #Valeo

That Valeo news for Tuam is a great fillip for the town. Worked in @TuamHerald for decade at start of career and the town just kept getting raw deal after raw deal.
