I finally found what I needed tonight, and got it adjusted. I was also able to lower the bridge a bit, which makes playing on the higher frets much easier. Loving how it plays now, but why the hell couldn't Harmony just put an Allen nut on there FFS??

So, "Mojo", my prized '66 Harmony Bobkat, had been in dire need of a truss rod adjustment for a long time now. It always had some fret buzz, but lately. It seemed to be getting worse and worse, to the point it was nearly unplayable. One problem, though...

When Harmony built those, instead of installing an Allen nut on the end of the truss rod, they installed a weird hex nut. Worse yet, they put it far enough inside the neck that I had a hard time figuring out what was in there, much less what I needed to turn it.
