@HockeyThinkTank Don’t forget that the kids both boys and girls build up rivalries from the youth levels because of the community based model, that it makes for fun games come time for high school puck. It also can start the fall of powerhouses. Look at 7A on the boys side as an example.

They say all countries are created equal.

But then you look at the United States of America, and then you look at everybody else and you know that statement ain’t true.

See, every country’s got a 50/50 chance of being the greatest at best.

But America’s not every country.

You take that 50% chance, add 250 years of freedom, multiply it by the strongest military on Earth, multiply that by millions of hard-working Americans, then add the Stars and Stripes and one bald eagle.

Now everybody else looks at that equation and they KNOW they can’t compete.

So everybody else’s 50% chance drastically goes down.

And America’s chance of being the greatest country on Earth goes up to 141 2/3%!

The numbers don’t lie. And they spell disaster for anyone who thinks they can compete with the United States of America!

@japan_nobunaga Depends on part of the country. I know for me in South Louisiana we started learning French at 3, but very basic things. Then learned it in middle school, it wasn’t until HS that another language was offered besides French

@Ed_Callahan63 I mean I get it, but maybe NoDak has a better program than UofM in what he’s wanting to study. The world doesn’t revolve around the Gophers. I’ve seen friends choose Texas and Florida over home state LSU in basketball and football, and they were offered by both among others.

Most of the states have mandated breaks for all HS and College sports activities during these times when the temp or heat index pass a particular number. Also the turf adds about 20°

@mike_gualtieri Actually the NCAA covers the boards for the Hockey tournament. I’m sure it’s the same for other sports as well. They want their sponsors getting tv time not someone else’s.
