Kent’s profound sacrifice—losing his wife to her duty to this country—gives him far more clarity than most war hawks in D.C., grounded in real loss and lived experience.
As for compromise: with zero military service and no grasp of geopolitics, you’re in no position to question the mental or physical capacity of those who served. Many of us lost family and friends on deployments. You couldn’t begin to understand what that feels like, let alone continue serving as Kent did.
