@ToastyObjection "...What...? Oh my god, you can't be serious... If you're offering me a job, the answer's yes. No doubt about it."
( "I came here for a snack and I'm leaving with a new job!" )
@ToastyObjection "Mmhm! Can't make much of a business out of it, unfortunately. I mostly just post the stuff I bake on social media and hope that someone out there wants to pay me for it."
She gave a short laugh, brushing some hair out of her eyes.
@ToastyObjection "Ooh, that's rough. I mean...I bake myself, so I know how hard it can be to do it alone. And I just do stuff for parties; I don't run a whole bakery..."
@ToastyObjection She was..surprised at this. Everything was freshly baked on the spot? Woah, that must be a lot of work for one guy!
"Say, are you the only one working here? It seems awfully quiet..."
@ToastyObjection "Athena. Unusual name, I know."
The redhead took the seat she was offered before handing over the money required, pulling a handheld game console from her bag as she waited, though she kept glancing over at the counter. She needed a job...and this bakery seemed understaffed.
@ToastyObjection "I think I'll try that, it sounds so unique, creative, and amazing!"
Athena seemed extremely enthusiastic about this, as if she cared deeply about baking... Which she did.
"How much do I owe you, buddy?"
@ToastyObjection "Hah...What kind of stuff? You've caught my interest..."
The girl walked into the warm bakery, relishing in the smell of bread and pastries.
"Mmm...."
