@AzzurriFanPhil I agree with that. I’m just scared for the midfield in a 3-4–2-1 but I like the players in the 4-3-3 better. Orsolini in the 4-3-3 would make way more sense.
Ultimately I think Spalletti is correct in not replacing the injured Acerbi. Such a strong list of defenders at his disposal and he had to cut a defender anyways.
I was close.
I just had Di Lorenzo as RCB and Cambiaso as RWB because that’s what Spalletti used in his last match.
Not sure I love it but I will support it. Let’s go! 🇮🇹👍
This is how Italy is expected to lineup at EURO 2024 🇮🇹
Donnarumma; Darmian, Buongiorno, Bastoni; Di Lorenzo, Barella, Jorginho, DiMarco; Chiesa, Pellegrini; Scamacca
Thoughts?
Spalletti has lined up the Azzurri in a 3-4-2-1 (343 perhaps) in Italy’s 2 latest matches this year. I have a feeling he’s going to do the same in the Euros.
Donnarumma
Di Lorenzo, Bastoni, Buongiorno
Cambiaso, Barella, Jorginho, Di Marco
Chiesa, Pellegrini
Scamacca
Thoughts?
@JuveLA_ I agree. It’s not my favourite but he played Jorginho-Barella together in the Eqcuador game. That was only a friendly game so that must be kept in mind.
@SignoreCALC10 I hear you. I find Spalletti’s 3-4-2-1 more of a 3-5-2. It’s usually used with Pellegrini or Frattesi but I prefer a traditional 4-3-3 as well. With natural wingers, natural midfielders, and defenders.
🚨Amongst the 30 called:
Here are those RISKING a cut still‼️
• Meret vs Provedel (Meret favored)
• 2 cuts between Fagioli, Ricci & Folorunsho (Fagioli favored)
• 1 cut between Orsolini, Zaccagni & El Shaarawy (Orsolini favored)
= Zaccagni vs El Shaarawy
