The Caldwell County Board of Education convened today and unanimously approved Dr. Thomas Howell as the new Assist Superintendent of Human Resources. Dr. Howell, who has served as the Director of Human Resources for Avery County Schools for the past two years, begins on Aug 1st.

At the Board of Education meeting held on May 13th, Dr. Jason Attig was named the new principal of William Lenoir Middle, effective July 1, 2024. Dr. Attig has served in the Caldwell County Schools as Assistant Principal @west_caldwell1. Congratulations to Dr. Attig!
