@Bullitt33 @letterboxd Love Dark Star! Feels like it shares some DNA with Red Dwarf, and a touch of Dr. Strangelove. Not perfect of course, given what it is. But I enjoy it more everytime I revisit it. And who knew Dan O'Bannon had acted in anything and that he could be as funny as he is in that flick.

@GwindaleeGrondl @Cultaholic It's not accurate to say that they said it wasn't kicked in. They clarified that they didn't know for sure whether it was kicked in, or in some other way forced in. They always maintained that the door was forced open in some way.

@dukealoops It was really sad for Jodie's era that almost the whole year, Doctor Who media were getting themselves hyped for RTD's return and all that news, and this finale seemed like an afterthought. "oh yeah I guess we need to finish up this era." Not what a regen episode should feel like
