@MetalMegaMike The entire world has changed, and many people don't realize it, ever since covid. People are much more antisocial than ever before, and it just appears different on the outside much of the time. It's probably not even your fault, it's just difficult for everyone these days.

@xHrdcoreShaggyx It's weird for me because I love the slow methodical a ton but it's hard for me to get back into it lately- I think if I played it (gu or earlier/ with more active multiplayer it'd be different

@TiphouSWE @MightyKeef That said, 4U is still my favorite and was excited to see World the first time after having played the earlier games for all those years. I like the newer games a lot, but the earlier games will always have a special place tbh.

@TiphouSWE @MightyKeef Honestly even MH1 is goated. Most of the things that make monster hunter, "monster hunter" were there in the first title. Played it a summer early on in high school and was hooked ever since. Drew greatswords in class and was excited to get back. Sometimes I miss the simplicity.

@gladionfan Not a mainline game ofc but I really enjoyed the watercolor look of the mystery dungeon remake , would love a mainline game with a slightly chibi style for the characters in this style (if it was done better than bdsp)

@HiddenPowerPod Man, I remember when XY felt realistic for a pokemon game , then again I remember seeing Ocarina of time and thinking the graphics were realistic, almost miss the days when imagination filled in the blanks

@CloudOfCrimson9 @LookAtMyMeat1 Honestly botw&totk looks a lot better, this is a good screenshot but I played Xenoblade 2 on switch lite and it looked like it had a sharpening filter and gave me headaches.

That isn't to say the world design isn't incredible (looking forward to X) and I enjoyed 3 a whole lot.
