People talk a lot about metrics (GPA, MCAT, etc) when it comes to admission to medical school. I keep this little note on my desk as a reminder when I am screening applicants that it is about so much more than that.
My son, Ellis, got his acceptance letter from the Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine. Headed to Medical School and the next adventure. Incredibly excited for him.
This is incredible. The audio is too good.
“One! Two!….nawww”
Then you see the flag for the celebration and hear someone off camera say “gotta be 3!” as if Key and Peele are part of the NFL rule book lmao
Also the announcer: Guess two pumps is enough…
This is gold 😂

Amazing. In *two* minutes, Pete Buttigieg got Andrew Shulz to see why government research is necessary.
That is why these conversations matter. A lot of the hosts & audience would never hear a message like this one. But when they do, it makes sense.
This has been in the works for a while, which is why I am so excited to finally be able to share the news. Such a fantastic collaboration between @FristCOM and @TSUedu. https://t.co/U0iPNY2rk5
Does major matter for medical school admission? I asked AI to read my dissertation and make a podcast about it. This is incredible technology, and it does an impressive job of summarizing my research. It's just 12 minutes long, so give it a listen!
