@solomonster The Rock should’ve been revealed as Head of the Table pulling strings of the Civil War on the RAW Netflix premiere, exiling Solo via MFTs after Solo honors his word acknowledging Roman after losing in Tribal Combat, & making Jacob his appointed Tribal Chief of Bloodline Wolfpac.
@solomonster It died when Rock didn’t commit to a Civil War. Solo should’ve kept his word acknowledge Roman after losing Tribal Combat on the RAW Netflix premiere. The Final Boss declares himself Head of the Table, orders MFTs to exile Solo, appoints Jacob as Tribal Chief of Bloodline Wolfpac
@muzza_316@sluggo080976@JDfromNY206 Yeah, those were the only matches I was interested in seeing Brock in, so now I can see the favor being Gunther battling it out with Bron Breakker for who the next Paul Heyman Guy will truly be.
@RossIsClutch You were kinda half-right on Randy. When you said he won’t turn, I said the opposite bc he’s a better heel & the ideal story is a turn on Cody, but you were right on him reaching lovable legend status. Like Edge, being unhinged is his best character work, but fans can’t hate him.
@JDfromNY206 It’s the version of Randy fans love & it finally gives us an interesting feud besides Punk/Roman, but they need to build a new top face ASAP. Even tho I don’t find strong face Cody as bad as early Cena & Roman, he’s still better as a Homelander corporate superhero/politician heel
@grant_matt79325@JDfromNY206 We NEED Cody/Randy or Cody/Punk bc they’ve both been teased for the last 2 years, but if they do Cody/Roman III as much as I despise Dwayne’s creative involvement, I feel we need reversed roles as Rock comes out to shockingly screw over his fam to buy a soul + set up SaudiMania.
@JDfromNY206 I would’ve accepted a tap-out finish if they built someone like Gable, have him get a shocking upset over Gunther in the Finals (what we should’ve seen at WMXL), & reveal Angle has been coaching him as his manager to LOCK IN as a wrestling machine full circle with the Ankle Lock.
@JDfromNY206 They’re going the route I hoped to see with Chad Gable beating Gunther in the Finals, revealing Kurt Angle as his manager mirroring the Ruthless Aggression promo, then makes Cena tap to the Ankle Lock for the first time since No Way Out ‘04. I feel Cena goes out on top here tho.
@JDfromNY206 Idk if Gable could’ve been cleared but this was the perfect chance to pull an upset adding him to the tournament finally getting that W over Gunther in the finals then reveal Kurt Angle as his secret weapon managing/coaching him to LOCK IN & mirror Cena’s debut promo full circle.
@JDfromNY206 It seems he’s gone completely quiet & ghosted TNA which is concerning. I
Hopefully people have checked on him to confirm if he’s okay mentally. There have been so many tragedies in wrestling & he just celebrated 1K days sober. Fingers crossed it’s only because he’s WWE-bound.
@ThatsWhyImGod@solomonster LMAO stop with this narrative. How hard is it to grasp that it all depends on creative? Name one star with more momentum now from that 3rd hour. Another hour doesn’t magically mean WWE gives a shit about pushing talent, just more filler. The men & women’s divisions are depleted.
@JDfromNY206 I can’t wait to see all these supposed “underutilized talent” the 3-hour apologists bitch about put on an entertaining show now that they have more TV time, as if the length of the show magically changes how much WWE gives a shit about the quality of their booking. 💀
@JDfromNY206 Also Exhibit L why fans should give up hope for that LA Knight push, as if they needed more evidence after 3 MITB losses in a row despite the briefcase being a perfect fit. I have way more interest in Punk over Jey, but maybe they’ll be a transitional champ before Bron.
@JDfromNY206 I like Jey having more of an edge, but I’d prefer keeping it a tag team storyline rebuilding that division & away from the world title. They take a risk last week (Seth’s injury forced their hand) only to play it safe again instead of strapping the rocket to the Next Big Thing.
@dailywrespod @JDfromNY206@master77g Nah, we got the right outcome given all the layers it had going for it. The WWE Championship was the one Cody wanted & Roman was a fitting rival given the family lineages & us getting the best Rock character in ages. Keeping the Dwayne/Roman main event in Philly could’ve gone bad
@StanManGundy1@thecompanion124@KXNGAO Regardless if you have no respect for disses or calculate the weight of Ibushi’s femur bone for Dave Meltzer, this isn’t exactly the same situation as a closely-guarded yet worst-kept secret in a fake injury angle leading to a world title run.
@Abdalla9719@JDfromNY206 WarGames will probably be where he gets his win back over Brock (+ The Vision). I would’ve liked to have seen Chad Gable managed by Kurt Angle as his retirement match, but since there’s only 1 slot left after SSeries, I think there’s only one unanimously clear & reliable option…
@JDfromNY206 I’m glad they’re at least adding this since Edge isn’t here to run back 1 of Cena’s Top 3 rivalries (next to Orton & Punk). That leaves only WarGames, then I assume Gunther as the obvious final match. My pick was Gable managed by Angle to bring it full circle, but Gunther works.
@JDfromNY206 It’s wholesome fr. Since TKO took over tho, I feel mostly execs/management have been HOF headliners (Heyman, HHH, Steph). HHH is a wrestling legend at least but more acknowledged in his current role. They’re all earned, but I hope Batista gets 1st induction soon, due since 2020.
