Last night I had the pleasure of supporting @mikegarry and the Cassia String Quartet as they came to Barrow-in-Furness. A big thank you to Mike for inviting me to perform and to everyone who attended. What a great night!

Last night I had my poem ‘Grandad’s Ties’ played out live on BBC Radio after submitting to @BBCUpload - I even got to have a chat with @JMtwittor about the poem, Christmas traditions, and my grandad. Give it a listen here, I’m roughly 1 hour in. Listen: https://t.co/JNXk7RmKwo
I had a lovely time this past week hosting a poetry night in aid of Mind in Furness at Barrow Underground Music Society. Thrilled with the spoken word scene that’s growing in my hometown.

I stole one of my nan's poems for a Lord Mayor's competition in the early 90s. It won and is still on display in the town hall. She never said a word. She's left me the fucking poem in her will and I had to explain why to my mum.
Big thanks to everyone who popped into my local last night for their The Farmers Arms’ first ever poetry open mic night hosted by Sally Ann and supported by @WordsworthGras
I had a lovely spooky time earlier this month sharing some stories at By (Electric) Candlelight with @BarrowFull and @obscuratheatre_ - I even got to sit in the big boys chair! (King of the castle, king of the castle)
I had an amazing time on Thursday night performing as part of the Northern Dream Network event during this year’s @AnotherFineFest.
A big thank you to Anne Hood, Mycelium Thinking, and @WordsworthGras for organising and supporting the night.
