Our community bee garden on the A6 is all decked out ready for the Coronation weekend! One of our members knitted the little crowns and made the flags. Three people stopped and commented on the display whilst they were putting it up. Nothing like a national celebration.

Did you know you can attend our WI up to 3 times as a visitor? It is only £4 a visit to try us, you can come and experience a meeting before deciding whether to sign up. Tonight’s speaker is Dr Bev Taylor who is a menopause expert. Of course, there will also be lots of cake 😁

Today was the first day of the St George’s Christmas Tree Festival, our entry is called A Warm Christmas.

There is also information about the warm spaces available in Stockport this winter. All items will be donated when the festival has finished.

Unfortunately, it's not as well loved as it's Manchester namesake... the street is a regular haunt for fly-tippers and scruffs who litter.

We're fed up, so are doing something about it. Join us on Sunday (12-3pm) if you can.

Have you ever noticed the community bee garden that some of our members look after? It is on the A6 at the crossroads of Longshut Lane West and Wellington Road South.

Today a couple of our members have added homemade poppies to the garden for Remembrance Day.
