@tonjkb Yep. The egg beater treading during the entire time you’re in the game. AND your also swimming and trying to throw the ball around too. It’s def the most physically demanding sport. The players also need to eat a ton! They expend fuel like rockets. - my son played waterpolo.
75% of our homeless Americans are addicted to drugs.
78% suffer from mental illness.
Providing a bed doesn’t address the root cause of homelessness.
We must put Treatment First.
At mile 22 of the city marathon, hours after the winners had finished, I found a woman standing alone with a cardboard sign and a cowbell.
The sign said YOU GOT THIS.
The runners passing her now were the slow ones. The walkers. The ones in pain. She rang the bell for every single one and pointed at the sign like it had been made for each of them personally.
I asked how long she had been standing there.
"Since six," she said. Six hours.
I asked if she was waiting for someone.
"My husband made this sign in '19," she said. "I ran that year. I was slow. He stood right here for six hours so I'd see it at the hard mile."
She rang the bell for a limping man twice her age.
"He's gone now," she said. "Somebody stood for me. So now I stand."
I stayed. I held the sign for an hour so she could sit.
A runner pointed at it, and cried, and kept running.
I do not know her name. She does not know mine.
The sign knows us all.
You got this.
@karol@DrJBhattacharya@margbrennan marg is barely even looking Dr JB in the eye. She’s stating her own opinions as facts without merit. It’s blatant agitprop.

Tell the Senate to remain in DC until the SAVE America Act is passed.
Every Senate number begins w/ 202-224-XXXX.
“My name is ____. My zip code is ____. I’m asking Senator ____ to remain in DC until the SAVE America Act is passed. I vote in every election.”
Peacefully.
This is the message young girls receive when athletes like Sophie Cunningham use their platform to speak the truth in love.
Courage IS contagious. It sounds cliche, but it's true.
Elon Musk on how his actions unintentionally accelerated AI:
“I guess the only thing we can try to do is minimize the probability of a bad outcome. For the longest time, I declined to participate in AI. I created OpenAI essentially as a counterweight to Google because, at the time, they were more or less a monopoly on AI. Then Anthropic spun out of OpenAI. If anything, it seems like my actions have really accelerated AI. I wasn’t aiming to accelerate AI, but creating OpenAI, and then having Anthropic spin out of it, resulted in knock-on effects that accelerated AI, which wasn’t really my intention. It just seems like all roads lead to the acceleration of AI. So then I’m like, okay, you can either be sad about it or join the club.”
Jensen Huang on President Trump:
“He’s smart. Goodness gracious, he sure knows his numbers. He wants the United States to be reindustrialized. He is single-minded about creating jobs and reshaping the American economy and workforce.” 🇺🇸
