A foundational piece of the Stampede history since 1912, the Elbow River Camp presented by @Enbridge, is a vibrant celebration of Treaty 7 First Nations culture. Visitors have the unique opportunity to experience the traditions of the Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Stoney Nakoda and Tsuut’ina First Nations firsthand. From the stories and history of the Tipi Holders to local artisans and traditional dancing, it’s a beautiful space of sharing, learning and community.

This week during Saddle Up, the Calgary Stampede's Volunteer and Employee pre-Stampede kick-off event, our Stampede Family came together to raise $8,109.80 in food and funds towards the Put the Boots to Hunger campaign in support of the Calgary Food Bank.

Stuart O'Connor, Stampede's President & Chair of the Board, and Melissa From, CEO of the Calgary Food Bank, celebrated the donation with a big YAHOO!

Thank you to our Stampede Family for showcasing our community spirit as we aim to help neighbours in our community facing food insecurity through the Food Bank.
