Today we say goodbye to Aqueduct Racetrack.
As a teenager, I spent so many days there with my friends. It’s where I fell in love with horse racing and where dreaming of owning great horses first began.
Years later, I was fortunate enough to win dream races there like the Demoiselle, the Remsen, the Wood Memorial, and Stay Thirsty winning the Cigar Mile (picture below).
Without Aqueduct, I wouldn’t be in this game.
