“I am convinced that when we stand before God … we will discover that every soul ever brought to a knowledge of Christ was in some way related to intercessory prayer.”
-Dick Eastman (1944-2026)
Steve Gaines is one of the finest men of God I have ever known. I pray, even now that God would shower his grace and peace on him and his beloved wife Donna. Words cannot express how much he is loved by so many and I am one of them. Phil. 1:3

Reading the New Testament highlights the essential importance of prayer in the Christian life- A “prayer-less” Christian life isn’t a Christian life
“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.”(Colossians 4:2)
“Sometimes God will move heaven and earth, bending space and time to weave a supernatural narrative in response to our prayers. But God always purposes prayer to change the hearts of the intercessors themselves.”
-Tyler Staton
If I need the power of the Holy Spirit in order to pray then my prayer must be highly important to God, enough so that He is willing to empower my prayer for maximum effectiveness
“praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication…”(Ephesians 6:18, Jude 1:20)
The Holy Spirit Inspired the Writing of the New Testament
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”
(John 14:26)
I did something a little different this Year in reading through the Bible. I used @drjamesmerritt 52 Week Daily Bible Reading Journal. Finished up a little early. Thanks Doc!!!
The remarkable thing about fearing God is that when you fear God you fear nothing else, whereas if you do not fear God you fear everything else. @myutmost
“Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord.”
I was invited last night by one of our wonderful church members originally from India to come to her home where she had invited many of her Hindu Neighbors to a meal she provided and I was able to share the gospel story. This is New Testament evangelism.
Today I will participate in a zoom call with @_SBTC pastors who are working to revitalize their churches-My assignment is to equip them in how to lead dynamic prayer meetings-Prayer doesn’t replace any ministry of the church- It reinforces every ministry of the church!
“When Jesus built the church, He built a praying congregation! To put it even more plainly: When Jesus built the church, He built a prayer meeting!”
-Armin Gesswein
