That “I earned this, now let me collect” mindset is exactly what hits me every single time. The eval only qualified me to start — it didn’t actually earn me anything yet. I keep forgetting that crucial shift.
It’s crazy how common this trap is for funded traders. I know the psychology won’t fix itself, so I’m definitely open to digging deeper into what’s driving the size increase. I’ll shoot you a DM if that’s cool with you. Really appreciate you taking the time to break it down like this!

You nailed it — passing the eval is no longer the hard part for me. The real struggle starts once the account turns funded.
My biggest issue is that right after I pass, I start craving that instant reward and quick feedback. That urge makes me increase position sizes way too aggressively and easily slip into over-trading. It’s like my psychology completely shifts the moment real money is on the line.
I know this cycle won’t break until I fix this exact mindset. Your comment really made me reflect deeper — thanks again for taking the time to point it out. I’m working on it! 💪
