Maybe I’m cynical but if I were a Reform spin-doctor, I’d consider ‘flooding the zone’ with a huge amount of ridiculous ads of Farage beating up various people on #questiontime a beneficial investment. It would avoid clips of their ridiculous candidates performance on the show…
@TheFreds@Tesco Ever thought that doing this gives Tesco an enormous amount of free advertising? A quick google and they’re not bothered about using the word Christmas… choosing specific items to wind up morons like you is fantastic marketing though - plaster their name everywhere 😂
@ClarksonsFarm1 I think regardless of the argument, anything that is arguably controversial should be posted on an account that doesn’t have implications for someone else and their business. Have the courage to post under your own name.
@rwbcat@GeordieApe@RupertLowe10 I’d disagree with that - since 2016 the US has had Trump and Biden. Similarly we’ve had the Tories and now Labour - however in that time, you’ve had 3 presidential terms. We’ve had 6 prime ministers. That wouldn’t happen without the ultimate will of the people
@rwbcat@GeordieApe@RupertLowe10 Correct me if I’m wrong too but when a president is elected in the US, that is it for 4 years - in the UK, there are ways for Starmer to be removed if (again) it’s a democratic process
Those complaining about small boats and immigration… this is literally a policy to try and stop this issue (France has this). I actually despair… the gov have all the information anyway. It just makes it easier on a day to day basis to check. I’d rather this than ICE…
@rwbcat@RupertLowe10 Starmer’s been democratically elected. The King dissolving parliament would be unconstitutional and a gross violation. He’s a figurehead with the power but no democratic right. It’s like asking Trump (also democratically elected) to be removed because people are upset
@Nigel_Farage@Keir_Starmer This is at least some sort of solution to the problem you trumpet daily… unless finding a solution before 2029 doesn’t necessarily fit your agenda?
Does #Sunak realise how ridiculous he sounds? £1.8m per asylum seeker… taxpayer funded at a time where ordinary people are really struggling. The mind boggles.
