@DuCiella If someone brings a song to the band with full lyrics they're rarely/hardly changed. A few songs have had lyrics that were collaborated on though!

We recorded this EP (and the first, and Sandcastles) at The Recording Company near Schenectady NY, a few short hours from Ben, Tim, and Peter's hometowns. Each got a chance to visit home between recording, and Tim surprised his brother by showing up to his college grad party.

Thorn and Tides was written in 2009 by Ben and Tim's first band together that included another member, Stephen Walter. It was called The Armory Show.

Ben, Peter, and Tucker are all the second born boys in their families. Unrelated note, we're all the youngest of our siblings. (Tim is the third born, he wasn't in the band when Second Son was written. Tough shit, Tim!)
