I’m 32. Give me oddly specific life tips. No general ”surround yourself with positive people” tips. I want the most random, specific advice possible.

@edgaralandough Approach every confrontation, both in personal life and business, with a “fact based/non-emotional” mentality. If you sense you are diverging from that, literally call it out and say, “that was me being emotional. The facts are…” and let it guide your statements.

@trunksbrief1 @Sonderisfon It was a brutal, tough period. Dark times. Can’t overstate it enough. I understand why you have that initial response, though. For me, it was truly a “pull me up out of the pits of despair” type thing.

@TTrimoreau I actively look for opportunities at start-ups. My expertise is service/support leadership and I’m truly great at what I do. I have yet to find one single start-up that offers a position that focuses on this.

@rovabtw It’s worse than going to the mechanic anymore. AND they try and guilt you into treatment using an AI scan that if you go to a different dentist would end up being wrong!

@betty_egg @Horrorsmith One of my kids regularly tries to “gotcha!” Me with monthly listeners when we’re talking about different artists. An example: Just because Mozart has less monthly listeners than a horrible modern pop group doesn’t mean they’re better.

@BenBusker I’m always open to a chance encounter. I will be guarded at first, but wouldn’t immediately turn them away!

@BenBusker I’ve seen a lot recently. But as soon as I clock it as AI, I immediately shut down and don’t want to be sold whatever they’re selling. Does it do that to you?

In scripture, so many sections start with “And it came to pass”. A favorite comedian of mine said “It came to pass, it didn’t come to stay!”

There’s wisdom in that.

@Emeka7590 Regular status checks and project self-assssments are key. If a milestone just keeps getting kicked down the road, something needs adjusted with either the people assigned or the project itself.
