On Easter Sunday we celebrate Jesus’ victory over sin and death. He rose from the grave to make a way for all to come to the Father.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6 v 23

He paid the price for us so that we could be free from the powers of sin and death:

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

Today is Good Friday which marks the day that Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross becoming the sacrificial lamb. Jesus didn’t just die on the cross. When He said “IT IS FINISHED”, He gave up his soul and took all of our sins to the grave.

Come to the Father
In 2020, my life was changed forever with the birth of my son. When he was born, I was amazed to watch as they placed him on his mother’s chest. He moved himself to his source of food without even being shown what to do. He already knew exactly where to go!

This is such a beautiful image of our relationship with God. In our innocence, our mess, our mistakes, this all leads us to our source.. God, our Father. Gods love for us is unconditional. This is illustrated in the story of the prodigal son - Luke 15 v 11-32,
