If you've been around the fandom since 7.1 there's a non-zero chance you've seen someone or another complain that Vesna is too casual with the harbingers, breaking rank, disobeying them, or disrespecting them by not speaking with formality.

Despite being trained by the Captain and taking orders from the Jester, as far as actual position goes Vesna is not subordinate to any harbinger.
